The competition for the planned office complex “Lightywood” in the heart of the castle island in the Harburg Binnenhafen has been decided. From the architectural competition with seven architectural offices for two construction areas, the working group Common Agency + Heine Architekten and GMP Architekten von Gerkan, Marg und Partner emerged as the winners.
The new building of the Centre for Studies and Doctoral Training at the Hamburg Harburg University of Technology by DZF Architekten is entering its final phase. On a gross floor area of over 1,936 m², student learning rooms, the Graduate Academy and the College of Excellence of the Centre for Research and Innovation have been under construction since mid-2019.
